Sam has been connected to Island Animal Hospital from childhood through her family’s pets. Her avid love for animals of all sizes began in her youth and continues today. In 2000 while working on Little St. Simons Island with horses, Sam decided to change course a bit and pursue a career as a veterinary technician. She graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2006 and went back to teach there from 2010 until 2013.

Sam enjoys sharing her natural ability to educate clients about their pets. She is very enthusiastic about the quality of medicine, especially dental care, that is practiced at Island Animal Hospital. Working at IAH is a great fit for Sam whose goal each day is to help clients improve the quality of life for their pets.

When time allows Sam’s hobbies are riding and training horses and sailing. Her family includes her son, three dogs, and three cats.
