Dr. Kari Obermeyer

Dr. Obermeyer earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with honors from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2006. After graduation, she completed a one-year internship in emergency medicine before spending several years as an emergency veterinarian. During that time, she gained extensive experience managing critical and urgent medical cases, providing advanced care for patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

In 2010, Dr. Obermeyer became the owner of a veterinary practice in North Carolina, where she enjoyed building lasting relationships with clients while providing compassionate, high-quality care to their pets. In addition to owning and practicing at her clinic, she continued working relief shifts at several emergency veterinary hospitals, allowing her to maintain her expertise in emergency medicine.

Dr. Obermeyer later relocated to Georgia, where she has been a valued member of our team as a relief veterinarian since 2017. She is now with us two days each week, continuing to provide exceptional care to our patients and support to their families.

Dr. Obermeyer is passionate about partnering with pet owners to help their companions live long, healthy lives. She is committed to delivering exceptional care with kindness, compassion, and understanding, ensuring every pet receives the attention they deserve.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Obermeyer is an avid cross-country cyclist who enjoys the challenge and adventure of long-distance cycling.
