Our veterinary assistant Lindsay is motivated to provide the best care for animals. Although she is pursuing a degree in Public Affairs at the College of Coastal Georgia, Lindsay is fascinated by the science of veterinary medicine. She grew up primarily in Suwanee, Georgia before moving to SSI, which she describes as a “small family island”. Being an outdoor girl and nature lover St. Simons Island is a wonderful place to pursue her hobbies of running, hiking and spending time with her dog Haven and her cat Moo. Wherever life takes her, Lindsay believes the compassionate care of animals will be part of her journey.

The veterinarians and staff welcome Traci to her new role as Hospital Manager. She has been employed by Island Animal Hospital for more than 15 years and during that time she has worn many hats. As a hometown teenager she brought the family dog to IAH giving her a personal knowledge of the local culture and the needs of our clients. Traci initially worked in human health care but found her passion for animals brought her to the world of veterinary medicine, which she loves.
Her goal as Hospital Manager to is to maintain IAH at the best level. As in the past, she will underscore client service excellence and quality veterinary medical practice. Traci’s diverse training and compassionate nature are key to the smooth running of this busy veterinary practice.
Traci lives in Brunswick with her husband. Together they have two adult children, three dogs and four cats.
Front Office Supervisor / Client Care Specialist
Lisa has the distinction being part of the Island Animal Hospital team for over 30 years. She came to IAH in her youth to work with animals and she found her love of working with people as well. In her role as our Front Office Supervisor she has found that learning is constant. Lisa has had a front row seat to observe the advances in veterinary medicine and the progression of the pet’s role in our families. A native of Brunswick, she and her husband Ron share their home with 3 dogs and 3 horses. Alpo is their special horse who acts more like the family dog. Lisa and Ron purchased Alpo at a slaughter house auction 32 years ago and he has been a happy boy ever since. She is an avid gardener who also likes hiking and traveling.
Cathy became an original member of the IAH family when she and husband, Dr. Jan Rossiter, purchased IAH in 1984. After helping to launch IAH, she took time off to be a stay- at- home mother to their two sons. Cathy came back to IAH around 2002 as Practice Manager, a position she held until 2015. Currently she works part – time to assist with marketing for IAH. Her new schedule allows her to spend more time with her grandson, Connor.
Sam has been connected to Island Animal Hospital from childhood through her family’s pets. Her avid love for animals of all sizes began in her youth and continues today. In 2000 while working on Little St. Simons Island with horses, Sam decided to change course a bit and pursue a career as a veterinary technician. She graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2006 and went back to teach there from 2010 until 2013.
Sam enjoys sharing her natural ability to educate clients about the pets. She is very enthusiastic about the quality of medicine, especially dental care, that is practiced at Island Animal Hospital. Working at IAH is a great fit for Sam whose goal each day is to help clients improve quality of life for their pets.
When time allows Sam’s hobbies are riding and training horses and sailing. Her family includes her son, three dogs and three cats.
Robin’s personal mission is to support the commitment pet owners make when they bring a pet into their lives. As a veterinary assistant she likes being part of pet health care and well-being. She has an interest in critical care so she also works at the Brunswick ER, to enhance her critical care experience. Robin has a degree in biology. Born and raised in Brunswick, she and her son, Roman, share their home with their dog, Kitha and cat, Karlito. Robin’s hobbies include dancing, singing and listening to books. She even dances for the cats and dogs!
Client Care Specialist
Island Animal Hospital is Gina’s ideal work environment because she loves people and pets. She naturally goes the extra mile for our customers, a skill she perfected during her years of running the family printing business. Gina looks forward to her job as a client care specialist each day. She received a heart transplant shortly after the birth of her second child, so she knows first hand the value of positive thinking and a can-do spirit. Gina and her husband Hilton have two daughters, Carolyn and Amber. Nugget, Patrick and Cricket comprise their Chihuahua children and Gracie and T are their cat kids. In her spare time Gina is into crafting.
Danielle has an innate need to nurture animals and an artistic drive to make them look their best. She thrives on the challenges of pet grooming and has a sense of accomplishment when she pleases the pet and pet owner. Danielle grew up in Brunswick around domestic and farm animals. As an adult, she and her husband, David have one dog, two cats, four foster squirrels and a Micro Mini pig . There is hardly a critter that she can’t make friends with. We welcome Jessica La Roche to the IAH grooming team. With five years of grooming experience, this quite and dedicated groomer began as a bather and discovered her fondness for grooming.
A self-professed animal lover and country girl, Jessica believes in gentle grooming for all animals in her care. It is important to her that grooming be as stress free as possible. Jessica and her husband have four wonderful children and three super dogs. Together they spend as much family time as possible enjoying their pets and outdoor life
Laurel is our lead kennel staff. She is the bundle of energy that has cared for our boarders for over 10 years like they are members of her own family. Laurel is a stickler for cleanliness, details and order. She prides herself on knowing each pet’s special likes and needs. She can tell when a boarder needs an extra walk, an extra hug, a toy or a treat. Laurel and her husband Gray moved to SSI in 2006 from Ohio. Their pet family includes 3 dogs, Winnie, Jake and Dani; a blind cat named Itsy and Buddy the rescue kitty. Her hobbies are cooking and landscape design.
