Dr. Jan G. Rossiter, Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Rossiter, a native of Iowa, graduated in 1973 from Iowa State University with both Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Animal Science degrees. He bought Island Animal Hospital in 1984 and has practiced in and managed the business since. Before moving to Georgia, Dr. Rossiter practiced in Schenectady, New York; Barre, Vermont; Nantucket Island, Mass.; and Plymouth, Mass. Dr. Rossiter's wife Cathy is Practice Manager of Island Animal Hospital. They have two sons, Luke and Ian Rossiter. Dr. Rossiter has served nearly twenty years on both the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia and the Advisory Board for Glynn County Animal Services. Special interests in Veterinary Medicine include diagnostic medicine, clinical pathology, ultrasound, cardiology, and working with wildlife.

Dr. R. Jason Arbo, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Arbo, a native of this area, joined Island Animal Hospital in April, 2006. Before coming back to Georgia, Dr. Arbo practiced in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and in Florida. Dr. Arbo received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State Univerity in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science degree from Purdue University in 1999. Dr. Arbo's wife, Traci, teaches school, and they have two children, Kielyn and Che. Dr. Arbo's special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology.

Dr. Brennan McGoldrick, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. McGoldrick joined Island Animal Hospital in July 2008. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 where he also received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. McGoldrick was selected as an intern in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Louisiana State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and completed that program shortly before joining Island Animal Hospital. Dr. McGoldrick, his wife Cheri and their new son, Walker, live on St. Simons Island. Dr. McGoldrick has special interests in Veterinary Medicine in neurology, endocrinology, and critical care medicine.
